Today’s post is sponsored by Huggies, by my love for their Snug & Dry Ultra Diapers is all my own!
Huggies Snug and Dry Ultra Help Spread the Love Campaign has made me think back to when I was a little girl of 3 we moved into the house that my dad still live in today. That was way back in 1970. I am living in a house that is about 2 blocks from that house and I have been here for over 20 years raising my kids and now my grandkids. Its amazing what home can mean. Everything significant in my life has happened in this neighborhood.
There is a park that I remember going to as a kid and then, I took my kids to that exact park and now when it comes time to take my grandkids to the park, we sometimes go to that exact park. Now there is a problem with that park in that I believe it looks the same and has the same play equipment since I went there as a child. Many times I have thought about going there and then choose another one that has, more updated play areas and more amenities for us.
Huggies Snug and Dry Ultra is running the best campaign right now that could change all of that. When you upload a selfie of you and your baby to twitter or instagram and use the hashtag #UltraHug you can nominate your community project to receive $2000 dollars for renovations and updates.
Think about how many lives you could impact by doing this? For us, its our family, its our home and the community we have lived in for over 40 years, its easy for me to find a project.
Perhaps you have a park, or community center, or teen drop in center, even an after school program that could use this money to help them take what they already do and bump it to the next level. Are you living in your same neighborhood with a park or program still going on that you would love to update? Look here how you can change something in your area.
From April 20th until June 25th, Huggies will be accepting all selfies of you and your baby with the hashtag #UltraHug, and featuring them in a collage on the campaign landing page. On July 6th, voting will begin to narrow down the 20 finalists to 10 winners who will win a $2,000 grant from Huggies for their nominated community initiative. This amazing program is continuing to gather entries! Find your neighborhood project that needs this cash and put this to good use!
